1:1 Therapy · Merrion Square, Dublin & online
My approach.
I work in a way that marries both pragmatism and deeper meaning-making — to help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and trust in yourself.
My work is grounded in psychotherapy and informed by clinical training, lived experience, and over a decade working in leadership roles alongside founders, CEOs, and executives within corporate settings both in Ireland and abroad.
I like to take a person-centred approach and draw predominantly on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as my core modality. In short, this approach creates a therapy space grounded in openness and curiosity, enabling non-judgemental exploration of whatever challenge you may be facing.
Who I work with
Three kinds of people find their way to this work.
Group 01
Individuals
Adults navigating a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties — whatever life is asking of you right now.
Group 02
Founders, leaders & high performers
A specialist interest in those carrying high levels of responsibility in professional settings.
I bring particular depth to work with women in these roles, where identity, self-trust and systemic challenges often intersect.
Group 03
Organisations
Companies that see their leaders' and managers' wellbeing as a necessary ingredient for success — not a perk.
How we'll begin
Every journey starts with a free conversation.
There's no commitment to anything beyond a first conversation. We'll start there, and only go further if it feels right for you.
01
Reach out
Send a short message about what's bringing you to therapy. No need to have it all figured out — a sentence or two is plenty. I'll reply within a day or two.
02
An initial consultation, free
This first conversation is about understanding more of what you're looking for in therapy, and helping us both decide whether I'm the right fit for you. Fit matters enormously, so there's no pressure to go further — just a chance to explore it together.
03
Ongoing sessions
If we decide to continue, we'll meet regularly — weekly or fortnightly — for 50-minute sessions, in person just off Merrion Square in Dublin 2, or online.
Where we'll meet
In the heart of Dublin city centre, just off Merrion Square.
In-person sessions are held from a calm, private consulting room in Dublin 2, a short walk from Merrion Square — easy to reach on foot, by DART to Pearse Street, or by bus from across the city. If travelling in isn't practical, I also offer sessions online over secure video.

Frequently asked questions.
Where are you based, and do you offer sessions online?+
In person, I see clients from a private consulting room in Dublin 2, just off Merrion Square in the heart of the city centre — a short walk from Pearse Street DART and well served by buses. I also offer sessions online over secure video for anyone who prefers it or lives further afield.
How much does a session cost?+
Individual sessions are €120 each. The first consultation is a free informal 15 minute online consult to understand more about what you're hoping to work on in therapy, and see if we're a good fit before moving forward.
How long and how often are sessions?+
Each session runs for 50 minutes. I meet people either weekly or fortnightly, and have a limited number of slots that I can offer at any time.
What kind of therapy do you offer?+
I'm trained pluralistically, meaning I draw on a number of different therapeutic modalities and tailor my approach to what each person needs. Predominantly I work in a person-centred way, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In practice that means a space grounded in openness and curiosity, where we can explore whatever you're facing without judgement.
Do I need to know what's wrong before reaching out?+
Not at all. Many people arrive simply sensing something isn't right, without the words for it yet. A sentence or two about what's bringing you to therapy is plenty — figuring out the rest is part of the work we'll do together.
Can I claim therapy back on insurance or tax?+
Coverage varies from provider to provider and plan to plan, so it's always worth checking the specifics of your own policy directly with your insurer. When you do, you can share my accreditation details: IACP Psychotherapist Accreditation Number M16474. Separately, you can claim 20% of your therapy costs back from Revenue as tax relief on qualifying health expenses at the end of the year. I'll provide receipts to support any claim.
Is everything we discuss confidential?+
Yes. What you share stays between us, held to professional ethical standards. The only rare exceptions are where there's a serious risk of harm to yourself or others — I'll always talk you through these boundaries at the start.
