About me

Building Chapters

Psychotherapist and technology optimist — endlessly curious about the intersection between psychology and technology.

My work sits where two of my great loves meet: the craft of therapy, and the art of building technology that genuinely helps people. I draw on both in the room — the lived experience of building under pressure, and the clinical training to help you rise to, and grow from, life and career challenges.

I've seen first-hand how genuinely life-changing therapy can be — and I believe we're at a rare moment where technology is positioned to have a profound impact on how we deliver healthcare. Used well, it can extend the reach of good clinical care far beyond the therapy room: making support easier to find, less daunting to begin, and more effective. That is why I'm building Chapters — and the vision that guides all my decisions.

My story

How I got here

For over a decade I've worked inside startups and scale-ups in leadership roles, working under the kind of pressure that high-growth technology companies are known for. I love the ambition of it: the pace, the people, the feeling of building something that matters.

But I also have first hand experience of what that environment can quietly cost the people inside it, particularly those at the top.

My own experience of therapy changed how I understood high performance and how to sustain it, so I retrained as a psychotherapist. Today I work with the same people I've spent my career alongside, helping them build a steadier, more honest relationship with themselves, based on the understanding that achievement doesn't, and shouldn't, have to come at all costs.
